Thank you for signing up to participate in the Stark Pride Festival 2024 to be held Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Centennial Plaza in Downtown Canton from 2:00-10:00 pm. Our volunteer committee is ecstatic by the incredible amount of support and interest we have received this year, allowing us to increase in size again in 2024. And we hope these efforts bring more people to our fabulous county! We really could not do it without all of you who are willing to connect with our community! Here is the information as you prepare for the festival. If you have any questions, please let us know at [email protected]: 1. PAYMENT: Most of you have paid (Thank you!) and some are on their way, but if you still need to pay, you can pay online using the links sent earlier. If you need help, an invoice, or W-9, let me know. Checks can be mailed to T.J. Horwood, Stark Pride Festival Committee, 2226 Harvard Ave NW, Canton, OH 44709. 2. EXHIBITING/VENDING: Plan to arrive between 11 am-1 pm to check in at Pride headquarters, set up, and be ready to exhibit/vend by 1:30 pm. In past years, most exhibitors stayed from 2-7 pm and vendors from 2-9:30 pm. All are welcome to stay the whole time, just let us know any major variations. Some reserved parking will be available for vendors/exhibitors. See the maps for parking lot information. On-street parking is also allowed if the space is not marked as closed. For load-in/load out, if vehicle access is necessary, please coordinate with a volunteer wearing a teal "staff" t-shirt at the road closure barriers. See attached rules and regulations. Please have someone at your booth the entire time. NOTE: If you are participating in the Pride March, be set up by 11:45 am to get to the march starting point and check in for the march starting at 12:00 pm. Line up by 12:30 pm in the Cultural Center for the Arts (1001 Market Ave N) parking lot. Step off is at 1:15 pm to walk south approximately 0.6 miles on Market Ave N to Centennial Plaza. 3. MAPS (Overview and Layout): Two maps are attached. The overview map shows road closures and parking lot locations. The layout map's first page offers a general layout of the festival grounds. The proceeding pages contain details about each area on the map that are labeled with letters and are color coded. Food vendors are labeled FV and a number and vendors/exhibitors are just a number. At the festival, each vendor's/exhibitor's table(s) will be labeled with your organization's name, spot number, and directional arrow (showing which direction your booth should face).
